Bio: Alexander Booth is a poet, translator, teacher & editor. He works in English, German and Italian & is the recipient of a 2012 PEN Heim Translation Fund grant for his translations of the poetry of Lutz Seiler (Seagull Books, 2016). His work has appeared in print & online at journals like A Public Space, Asymptote, Beloit Poetry Journal, Chicago Review, H_NGM_N, Masschusetts Review, PEN America Journal, Poetry Wales & White Review. A former resident of Rome, for many years he kept a weblog on Rome in literature & Roman literature, Misera e stupenda città, & was a volunteer at Rome's Non-Catholic Cemetery (final resting place of Keats, Shelley & many others). He currently lives in Berlin.
